This exhibition has ended.
With discovery and experimentation as its theme, the McCord Museum’s new outdoor exhibition explores 3D vision as made possible in the 19th century with the invention of stereoscopic photography. The images presented on McGill College Avenue are part of the Notman Photographic Archives of the Museum and allow visitors to view 12 scenes of historical Montreal and Quebec in 3D, aided by today’s digital technology. The outdoor exhibition is presented free of charge, and a virtual version will also be featured on the McCord’s Web site.
