Whether they be layout, decor details or even works of art, interior often falls through the cracks when it comes to the protection, renovation, adaptation or upgrading of heritage buildings. Should heritage be reduced simply to the façade of a building as part of public space decor? Many churches, banks, movie theatres and homes have remarkable interiors. How far should conservation go in?
