Parks, Public Spaces and Green Spaces: What’s Their Future?

As places to have fun, relax, or commune with nature, parks and public spaces play an essential role in the quality of urban life. Sometimes neglected or, on the contrary, sought after, these sites are not always as protected as they should be. From creating more pocket parks to managing large parks, how can we plan for the future of this living heritage that is so crucial to residents and the urban life of our city?

For a seventh consecutive year, the City Talks series will bring together city thinkers and builders to discuss current practical urban issues affecting Montrealers. The talks will be introduced by Suzanne Sauvage, President and Chief Executive Officer of the McCord Museum, and moderated by Dinu Bumbaru, Policy Director of Heritage Montreal..
