Eco-lunches

Free Activity | In the Urban Forest

This summer, take part in two eco-lunches to learn more about the environmental impact of your lifestyle during workshops presented by the Société pour l’action, l’éducation et la sensibilisation environnementale de Montréal. Each workshop will consist of a 30-minute presentation followed by a Q&A that’s sure to stimulate discussion and provoke thought.

Program

  • How to Enjoy a Zero-Waste Lunch
    July 18, 12:15 to 1:15 p.m.
Eating at work is part of our daily routine and allows us to socialize and relax during our break. However, the consumer society has turned our lunches into a real waste factory. How can we continue to eat out while respecting the planet?
  • The Plastic Issue: Better Understanding Its Impact on Biodiversity and on People
    August 15, 12:15 to 1:15 p.m.
Plastic is all around us, in the clothes we wear, in the food we eat and in the objects we use. By better understanding its use and its effect on biodiversity and on the human body, we can learn to control it, to reduce its use and to mitigate its harmful impact.
