Privacy Statement

The McCord Stewart Museum and the McCord Museum Foundation are committed to protecting your personal information. The purpose of our privacy policy (the “Policy”) is to explain how we collect, use and disclose your personal information when you use our website and services, and what your rights are in this regard.

The Museum and the Foundation are separate legal entities. However, they share certain resources and objectives. As a result, we may ask you whether the personal information you entrust to the Museum or Foundation can be exchanged between the two organizations when required for the purposes set out in this Policy, unless you explicitly refuse.

If you visit a third-party website, we invite you to familiarize yourself with its policies before submitting your personal information, if applicable.

This Policy does not apply to the collection, retention, use or disclosure of historical or genealogical material for legitimate public information purposes.

How long do we keep your personal information?

We retain your personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this Policy and to meet our legal, ethical and regulatory obligations. After that time, your personal information will be securely destroyed or made anonymous.
