The Museum and Its Foundation Honoured for Sustainable Investment Policy at the 2025 SMQ Conference
For the second year in a row, the McCord Stewart Museum Foundation proudly received the Caisse d’économie solidaire Desjardins Award for Socioecological Transition, recognizing its Sustainable Investment Policy. The initiative reflects the McCord Stewart Museum Foundation’s determination to advance financial governance in alignment with the Museum’s social and cultural mission. At the heart of this ambitious framework are the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, the integration of Indigenous knowledge, and reconciliation.

- Canadian Museums Association Award for Outstanding Achievement in Volunteerism, presented to Joan McKim, C.M. one of the oldest and most dedicated volunteers at the McCord Museum.
