Déjà Vu, News and Commentary

Paid activity | Space is limited, Reservation required

The BIAS Foundation and the McCord Stewart Museum are inviting you to the second edition of Déjà Vu, an annual retrospective of local and international current events seen from the perspective of columnists and analysts who come from Black communities.

In the past year, what news stories caught your attention in the province of Quebec, in Canada or on the international scene? What are the main topics that deserve further consideration, that need to be revisited and analyzed, but this time from the point of view of Black communities?

Déjà Vu is the perfect opportunity to look back on news stories that we have read or seen – that we have witnessed –, and situations that we have experienced, in order to take a fresh look at these events that are increasingly shaping our world.

The conference deliberately takes place during Black History Month, as guest panelists revisit the news stories of the past year, from February 2024 to February 2025.
