Bring your family and friends to the Museum for this fun and interactive workshop. Explore a large-scale painting and the many photographed individuals that inspired its creator.
Artist Kent Monkman’s Welcome to the Studio (2014) features more than 30 portraits (1826-1891) from the McCord Stewart Museum’s Photography collection. This painting immerses us simultaneously in the world of photography, painting and Indigenous cultures. A workshop for all those who like to play, discuss and reflect with family and friends!

- Every Saturday, from October 26 to November 23, 2024, from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Free with admission to the Museum. Admission to the Museum is free for ages 17 and under.
Space limited, no reservation. Registration on the day of the event at the Museum Admissions Desk. - Workshop for all in English and French
Recommended for children aged 6 to 14 (parents must be present) - Length: 30 minutes
