Bring your family and friends to the Museum for this fun and interactive workshop. Explore a large-scale painting and the many photographed individuals that inspired its creator.
Artist Kent Monkman’s Welcome to the Studio (2014) features more than 30 portraits (1826-1891) from the McCord Stewart Museum’s Photography collection. This painting immerses us simultaneously in the world of photography, painting and Indigenous cultures. A workshop for all those who like to play, discuss and reflect with family and friends!

- Free with admission to the Museum. Admission to the Museum is free for ages 17 and under.
