Since the late 19th century in city planners and governments have created projects to offer the experiences of nature to city dwellers through the preservation of land tracts on the outskirts of cities and the construction of landscaped areas. With the expansion suburban house construction and increased building density in cities; where does one find nature and what does it look like? How do we define nature and how is it constructed in cities? Come hear about some projects that confront these questions.
