Ceramics and glassware

In March 2016, as part of the roll-out of the Plan culturel numérique du Québec, the McCord Stewart Museum received funding to digitize part of its Decorative Arts collection, notably ceramics and glassware.

Over 2,600 ceramic pieces and 1,600 pieces of glassware, both imported and produced locally, and used primarily by Montreal families from the early 18th to the early 20th centuries, were added to the Museum’s online collections.
