Harry Sutcliffe – Strolling Through Montreal
On McGill College Avenue
This exhibition has ended
True to its mission of paying tribute to our people and our stories, the McCord Museum draws on its impressive photography collection to shed light on Harry Sutcliffe (1878-1942), a Canadian photographer of British origin who created some of the finest postcards of Montreal in the 1920s and 1930s. The ninth annual McGill College exhibition highlights the daily atmosphere of Montreal’s squares and parks in the period between the two world wars.
This exhibit was made possible by a donation from Peter, Paul, Robert and Carolyn Sutcliffe.
