The Sunday Workshops

The Peer-to-Peer Committee is proud to announce that $19,252 was collected this year for the Sunday Workshops campaign.

Thanks to your donation, the Sunday Workshops initiative will keep going year-round! You contributed to maintaining these activities free of charge and in the same time, you supported the development of young children while offering opportunities for precious moments.

I MISSED THE CAMPAIGN, WHAT ARE THE SUNDAY WORKSHOPS?

These fun educational craft workshops, linked to McCord Museum exhibitions, are offered for free to families every Sunday throughout the year and every day during the holiday season.

The activities vary depending on the season and Museum programming. There are up to four different themes per year.

Almost 3,000 families are able to participate free of charge each year.

What is the impact of this program?

• Contributes to the development and education of children—the next generation
• Fosters healthy parent-child relationships by allowing families to spend quality time together
• Builds informed, open, engaged citizens by bringing together Montrealers of all origins through stories and shared activities

ABOUT THE PEER-TO-PEER COMMITTEE

The Peer-to-Peer Committee is made up of ten young professionals who became involved in the Museum to be agents of change in their community. They wish to make a difference in the lives of Montreal families by providing free craft workshops every Sunday.
