The McCord Museum had the great pleasure of hosting 12 Leucan families on December 7 and 14, for the very first A Night at the Museum event, organized by the McCord Museum Foundation. From sunset to sunrise, the children and their families took part in a variety of activities, in addition to spending the night in fairy-tale surroundings in front of the Ogilvy mechanical Christmas window display.
“By joining with Leucan for this first A Night at the Museum, the McCord wanted to give children with cancer and their families an opportunity to experience a wonderful unique event that would leave them with lasting memories. The initiative was a huge success, and the joint efforts of the Museum and Leucan teams helped to make the night a magical moment for both young and old,” said Suzanne Sauvage, President and Chief Executive Officer of the McCord-Stewart Museum.
